Prayers and Fasting

I told Mr. Blue Eyes tonight that well over 100 people will be praying and fasting in prayer for him tonight and tomorrow. He said "REALLY?" I asked him what he thinks about that. He said "cool" and  "nice" in a very meek voice.
I feel the great strength of these prayer and this fast. I am touched more than anyone could ever know to have the support of our family and dear friends.

We also are praying for Ashley, who is suffering from severe P.P.D., and John who is suffering with advanced melanoma. So if you have more room in your prayers please include them.

    Add six from the Carlson family. Our fast today is not only for Mr. Blue Eyes but also for you Sweetpea and Todd. I truly admire your strength and reliance on faith. Miss and love you all. And will continue to keep all of you in our prayers.

    Hi Larsen Family,
    I honestly forgot about the fasting today but I have had Mr. Blue Eyes on my mind all day. The funny thing is that I have not had a bite of food all day which is extremely rare for me. Go figure. Heavenly Father works even when I am not aware...Please let me help cuz that's what I do best. Michelle Staley

    Angela-I read your blog just a few minutes ago and cannot even imagine everything you, your family, and Mr. Blue Eyes are going thru right now. I'm sending you my prayers. I too admire your strength and the faith you have shown in just the writings in your blog.

    My sweet sister, Corban and family today as I near the close of my fast I wish to share with you the comfort and peace I have received today. It was given by the angel children in my ward. Singing a child's prayer. As I conducted them and sang and hear the words of this song my heart sang and my eyes cried.

    "Heavenly Father are you really there?"
    "And do you hear and answer every child's prayer?"

    (Yes he does!!! Everyone that is praying for you Corban and your family, not one prayer is unheard.....)

    "You are his child."
    "His love now surrounds you"
    "He hears your prayer; he loves the children"

    I just imagined sweet Corban's own prayer and each of the one hundred.

    Corban you are so very loved and God hears all of your prayers. He loves you so much! I pray that you will feel so much love and peace as your body fights and rids itself of cancer my sweet little nephew. I know that are many angels that are with you:-)

    We love you and would do any thing for you!!

    Angela,
    Jaelin started her fast fri night and the rest of us on Sunday. Sunday morning, when I reminded Stephen that it was fast sunday, he looked disappointed. I asked him if he'd like to know who I was fasting for and then he could decide if he wanted to fast for him too. I told him about some of the things I've read on your blog and asked if he'd like us to pray together to open his fast. He said he would like to fast for him to asked me to say the prayer so he could learn how to fast and pray for someone. After we prayed, Stephen had a really good feeling and gave me a hug. He told me later that it was much easier to fast yesterday because he was fasting for him. When I had started my fast Sunday morning with my prayer, I could feel my fast and prayer joining with many others on behalf of him. Love to you, Heidi
